Want to learn how to dance or brush up on your dancing?


Here is our pick of dancing events taking place around the state as part of the NSW Seniors Festival.
Below are some of the top dance events/activities across NSW during the Festival:


Dance for Life
Dance and move together. Be inspired by the music and move as much as you feel.
Adults and pre-schoolers dance together in this guided workshop, no experience or rhythm required.

Bookings required.

Bush Dance Taster
Dancing is good for you mentally, physically and socially. Apart from that, we have a great time and lots of laughs every week.
All dances are walked through and called. No partner needed.

Dance for Parkinson’s
Come and experience the benefits that music, movement and dance can bring for people living with Parkinsons Disease.

All mobility levels are welcome. Have a bit of fun and meet some new friends. Carers, partners and friends are encouraged to join the class too, as well as any seniors who just want to get moving.

Creative Spark
Come and find your creative spark with a drumming circle, a fun dance class designed to promote health and wellbeing or learn some simple weaving techniques to make beautiful creations.

Ballet for Better Balance
Free traditional ballet class for 55+ without any previous ballet experience, danced to classical ballet music. An opportunity to learn some basic ballet steps and provide an insight into what professional ballerinas do in their daily class.

This class, specifically caters for seniors and aims to improve balance, stability, flexibility, coordination and mental agility.

50’s Style Rock ‘n’ Roll Show
Demonstrating original 50’s style Rock ‘n’ Roll dance style. Join in and rock around the clock.
