Speed Friendship is the most fun you will have making friends!
Engage in fun and speedy one-on-one conversations with multiple people from across Sydney and NSW who are all over 60, just like yourself.
Whether you want to make new friends, find a romantic partner, or simply want to chat with a fellow contemporary, joining one of the below Speed Friendship Events will accomplish that.
Four Speed Friendship Events will be hosted at the NSW Seniors Festival Expo by Stitch, the world's largest and safest social community for anyone over 50.

Gymnastics NSW | Fitter for Life

Fitter for Life is a fun and social opportunity that aims to help you improve your mobility, strength and coordination; the activities in the program can be catered to you and tailored to your level of ability or mobility.
The skills developed in the Fitter for Life program are used for everyday activities, such as Walking up and down a flight of stairs, Hanging out the washing, Bending down or reaching up into cupboards, and Playing with grandchildren.

10.30am – 10.45am

Curves | Walk

Curves Walk will help members increase their cardio while increasing their step total for the day.  This can be low intensity or pick it up, you can take between 1500 and 3500 steps. Join in for a little bit of walking fun with friends

10.45am – 11.00am

Curves | Balance

Curves Balance is the body’s physical stability or equilibrium. It is at the core of nearly every physical movement you perform from standing, walking all forms of exercise. Good balance is essential for fall prevention, one of the leading causes of hip and knee surgeries. Balance is an essential component of good health where all body systems are working in unison. Balance by Curves is a specialty class designed to help improve balance and create a strong core. Balance by Curves is a lighter intensity class. Balance movements are done in-between the circuit machines in 30-second increments.

11.00am – 11.15am

Curves | Dance & Tone

Curves Dance & Tone incorporates movements from many styles of dance to get your body moving in a rhythmic way in between the strength machines. The dance moves incorporate Latin rhythms, Broadway jazz, classic swing and even some funky hip hop, a bit of something for everyone. Dance has been proven to help in weight loss while improving balance, flexibility, strength, cognitive ability and physical grace. It’s a blast – 5, 6 7, 8 – Ready? Let’s Dance!

12.30pm – 1.00pm

Get hands on with the Bunnings Gardening workshops and take part in a ‘Make and Take’ session with Ryobi
